Yvette Rodriguez comes to Notre Dame after finishing her Master’s degree in the higher education student affairs program at Iowa State University in May, 2016. As a graduate assistant she worked in multicultural programming. As a part of her assistantship, she coordinated a learning community and facilitated an interracial conversation group. Previous to these experiences, she worked full time as an Admissions Counselor at Iowa State University which sparked her interest in serving students and families from many diverse backgrounds in a higher education setting.
Yvette appreciates learning about other cultures and traditions, and is therefore excited to learn more about Notre Dame’s traditions and history. Interests outside of work include reading, writing, and anything musical. One of her favorite travel destinations is Paris.
